The majority of my animation work utilsises traditional methods of stopmotion including claymation, paper cut out and pixilation techniques.

The combination of live action and animation has always intrigued me. Utilising animation makes it possilbe to subvert to conventions of reality, which are typically portrayed through the medium of live action film. Simlarly, encorporating animation into predominatly live action films can can act as a visual metaphor for escapism, or a as surreal, dreamlike version of reality; all of which are common thems that emerge in my films.
Imagineographer is a short hybrid film following a photographer as she constructs a camera obscura of (imagined) memories in an attempt to reconnect with a lost loved one.

My photography consists of a combination of digital and analog techniques. The chemical process of analog photgraphy completly infactuates me. Where as the convenience of digital technology can provide a more nonchalant approch whilst still obtaining the desired results. I tend to be far more frugal with my analog photography, taking time to compose the shots.
My commercial work includes a promotional video for Out Of Hand and their involvement in Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2015 as part of my Project Manager Internship.

In addition to this is a short trailer I was commissioned to edit for Bristol Radical Film Festival 2015.
